These Terms of Service govern your use of otsowntheshift.com, the Frontline Coach app, and related OTS content (books, videos, and email). By using the site or app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.
Own the Shift ("OTS," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by OTS Media LLC, a Missouri limited liability company.
OTS content is built for working managers and adults running a shift. You must be at least 13 years old to use this site, and at least 18 to create a Frontline Coach account or use the app.
All OTS books are sold and fulfilled entirely by Amazon. Your purchase, payment, shipping (physical or digital delivery), and any return or refund is governed by Amazon's own terms and policies, not ours. We're the author and publisher, not the retailer.
Frontline Coach is in open beta and requires an account to use. It's provided "as is" and "as available" for evaluation and feedback — we don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that any specific feature will remain free or available, and beta access does not guarantee the app will remain free once it moves to a paid subscription. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time. The app has its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, viewable inside the app, which govern your use of it in detail.
OTS books, videos, coaching content, and the Frontline Coach app are for informational and training purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional legal, HR, medical, or psychological advice, and we're not responsible for decisions you make in your workplace based on this content. When in doubt, consult a qualified professional or your own HR/legal counsel.
All content on this site and in the app, including book text and excerpts, video content, the Frontline Coach product, and site design, is owned by OTS Media LLC / Own the Shift and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our written permission, beyond normal personal use (like reading a book you purchased).
You agree not to misuse the site or app, including attempting to scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any part of it, or to use it for any unlawful purpose.
This site links to third-party services, including Amazon and YouTube. We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.
The site and app are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OTS and OTS Media LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, the app, or the content.
We may update these terms as OTS grows. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and continued use of the site or app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.
